Not surprisingly other than mama and dada, John's first attempts to communicate have largely been food motivated. Besides pointing and signing for "more", to date we have been able to decipher words for cookie (his first and favorite)"googie", banana "nana", cheese "eese" and when prompted with the question "do you want more to eat?" he answers loudly "yea yea!" Our vocabulary grew again over the weekend with the addition of Bob "bob bob", his grandpa Rist. I know it's inevitable but he hasn't started using the word "No" yet and that's fine with me.
